Dynamic Random Quest Rewards

In retail, quests were had random rewards based on events, promos, collabs, etc. This has been re-implemented in a way that lets me leverage a player’s properties to determine the rewards. I will need YOUR HELP to determine what to add to these. I want this system to be dopamine inducing - when you see that [?] on quest completion, we need those eyes DILATING!!

DRQRs Current Config

  • Below Lv55 - These are separate rolls, I.E. you can hit both:
    • 10% chance to receive team appropriate gear
    • 5% chance to receive an XP or G Bonus Dungeon Ticket

Quest Pack (Upstream)

A number of the “Infected/MortalityCheck” Quests restored (AR10+), along with other fixes to the previous quest pack. These Infected quests existed here, but were incomplete - this patch restores more of their original functionality. Courtesy of upstream dev: Hulkenburg.

Balance & Bugfixes

  • Tentative fix for a bug where despite having 100% chance to inherit a jewelry piece to your Job Emblem, it would fail. If this happens to you i WILL refund the cost in GG, just let me know.
  • **Still-Beating Heart: 10% -> 20% droprate
  • Chest Equipment 17% -> 12%** chance (remember, gained 10% from quests)
  • Monster Hunter token added to Mist Drake/Wyrm
  • Where’s My Lindwurm? Lindwurms appropriately leveled up to useable levels
  • Crafting Recipes costing 5x each of some boss mat reduced. If you encounter armor recipes where its like this, let me know. Boss fights are cool but like 10 for a single piece, you’ll outlevel the gear before you make it.
  • Quality Armor Upgrade Rocks removed from Heavy enemies, Small Rocks reduced to 10% chance from any enemy. (might be perma)

Back in the Zone

  • Going to return to the quest zone and restore some more things for us to do (and stop breaking peoples characters :P) And maybe after Valentines Day Ill turn Berserk on Again!
