Elites
Elite enemies add spikes of difficulty to ordinary travel routes and farming areas. They are meant to feel like real threats, not just larger health bars.
- Powerful (Tier 1): 30% spawn chance per eligible group (containing a normal nameplate enemy)
- Drops: 1 Silver Gray Coins
- Matchless (Tier 2): 10% chance to empower a Heavy enemy (dungeon only). Inspires nearby enemies to become Powerful
- Drops: 3–5 Silver Gray Coins; Quality Armor White Dragon Rocks. Reward: ×3 XP.
Scaling Enemies
Enemies scale within normal bounds of each Area’s content as your character level increases. This integrates seamlessly with quest variant and Area Rank system from Retail, making the player feel their Area progression much more acutely.
